congratulations! Do you know grades, or just passing stuff? How does that all work?
And what's the deal wiht Esq?
In traditional British etiquette/social precedence, it indicated that the person "Esquire" is a gentleman. I think. And any commissioned officer in the army (as opposed to the enlisted soldiers and NCOs) was also a gentleman.
I quite like the idea of women being esquires (holding the knight's sword, and polishing the saddle, if you will...not sure if that's a good metaphor for corporate law or not!)
CONGRATULATIONS! I know how relieved you must feel (not that I ever doubted you would pass). I never really doubted it when I was waiting for my results, but I was surprised at how much better I felt when it was actually confirmed that I passed. It weighs on you without you even realizing it. Have an awesome day!
What an awesome week for you!!! I bet you feel so relieved--like you can *really* settle in now. Put down your briefcase, so to speak. :-) Very, very proud & happy for you! Congrats!
Congratulations!!! I remember being SO RELIEVED and also so very surprised at that relief (by November I'd fully supressed all memory of the bar and related stress/anxiety -- that all came back up once I knew I'd never have to worry about it again!). Enjoy your weekend!
