Batman Comes to My Street

On Sunday when JP and I were walking back from the aquarium, we noticed that the abandoned post office building on Van Buren St. had been spruced up on one end and now had "Gotham National Bank" in shiny letters on the front. It turns out the Batman sequel "The Dark Knight" will be shooting a few scenes in Chicago starting Wednesday! This is literally 2 blocks from our apartment! There were lots of movie trailers parked around the building on sunday- maybe we'll see someone famous.
